Diary of a Rock Balancer ::

The Weather Channel :: Video Interview ::

Stone Balance Art created and photographed by Michael Grab — 17 August 2016 — Colorado, USA ::

The fine art of it all is managing such a minute threshold of vibrations. not to mention how one blends technical skill with designing the space. I love finding the perfect rocks to amplify negative space..tuning the subtle interaction of angles and curves. In this case the long side rock fits that vertical space with a beautiful precision, especially with the additional middle mini stack… it all just fits.

This was the second day of shooting with the Weather Channel. Also attached is the final feature and interview (Released Dec 17, 2016).
