The Leaf Catcher ~ for obvious reasons . . .

This was one of the most physically exhausting arrangements I can remember building…

~ WHY?

I added a self portrait to show a bit of scale… but considering scale, note the lateral distance that the *massive* top rock sits away from the root, essentially cantilevered out over thin air. The challenge: maintaining control over so much tension WHILE lifting and placing the large top with one arm.

It’s one of those situations where I didn’t really have control over anything.. it was too extreme and interconnected to take a rest… the only rest was upon zeroing the top rock…

End result:
