Bow River just took one of the top spots for most beautiful rocks in the world! my balance, nor photograph do them justice.

highly recommended rock selection. harder to balance due to extremely smooth surfaces, but the colors, grains, and shapes available are top shelf.

This place specifically was called Edworthy Park… maybe about a 15 minute drive west of downtown on highway 16 or 1 or whatever it’s called… the main vein heading west toward the mountains.. but this is still in the city… beautiful city i might add :))

  1. i really like this one and cant really explain why…maybe the color. do you sometimes leave your work for others to find, or do you always destroy them afterward? i would love to be walking along and find something like this. it would stir the imagination.

  2. WoW! I love the energy these rocks have. Mystical… I also enjoy what you do. I have tried it 2 weeks ago when we were in a nice shallow creek. Sure, my towers were not half as impressive as yours. But i enjoyed it tremedously. Connecting to the water in the creek and let the rocks “call me”. Thank your for your inspiration.

  3. I was thinking the rocks looked pretty awesome before I even read your words about them; yep, these are some of the coolest rocks visually on their own, let alone balanced together (the colors and shapes and swirls, niiiiiiiiiice!)

  4. Lake Superior has some beautiful rocks. These are at Little Girls Point. Love your work, by the way. So peaceful. Didn’t get a chance to see you in Munster, IN but 2 of my friends were there.
